Ingredients
1/4 Ib (114gm) Butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
3 Eggs
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 Cup of Milk
1 Cup or S.R. Flour
Pinch Salt
Method
Beat butter and sugar add egg yolks, vanilla, then milk alternately with sifted flour and salt.
Grease tin and put mixture in then.
Beat egg whites then add half cup sugar till stiff - fold in 1 cup coconut (lightly).
Put on top of cake.
Do not flatten this and not to close to edges.
I doubled this mixture 250mm (10") tin I used 1 0 3/4 "tin Bake in mod oven 40 mins. 190 c.
