Hughes News 2005

The year in summary:-

Holidays

We went for a holiday this year one of those events that do not happen enough, the place Star Virgo cruise ship, ports of called, Port Kalang just near Kuala Lumpa then to Pukette just after the Sunamai and then to Penang. Time 6 days and 2 days in Singapore, never a dull moment.

Kyle Family

Kyle and Margerita moved from Byron Bay and now live in Bundaberg, hopefully they have sold there house in Byron. Magerita is now practicing in law. Kyle is trying his hand at selling realestate. Joaguim and Xavier have adapted well, and they are renting house close to the beach.

Amber

Amber is now permanent teacher at Varsity on the Gold Coast, she thought she might have to go bush to get into the system, however she obtained a posting even closer home than her previous temp positions. Amber looks well and is enjoying her work in a very positive school.

Maria Work

Maria is still working at Myer, some times I think she is in the fruit department because keeps on talking about pears some customers that resemble fruit cakes. I think I shall have to listen little more closely.

Chris Work

Things have been a little quiet this year this has allowed me to give some time to developing a new programme called Kontrol Pro. Everybody says I have spelt it wrong, however the marketing people say its good for getting attention.

Not much travelling this year with work. Sales of Fast Track has seen a little bit of growth. People are spending much more on training than in previous years. Our staff is still Sylva Dostalikova (try saying that when your had a few). Sylva is on 10 weeks holiday in the Cez Republic (Home) at the moment, we lost Julie to full time position and gained Kylie.

Health

My doctor said he would like to see a little less of me, so cancelled the next three appointments. Apart from that, it’s good for both of us.

Maria

Now it’s my turn another year gone, not much to report.

In March we received very sad news our close friend Michelle Mc Knight died. The lady that bought happiness and friendships to so many people that includes Chris and I, Michelle left behind a husband and 2 young children, however she lived life to the max and cramped a lot in what seems to some, a small amount of time.

Chris and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary on the 7th October hard to believe, we stayed at the Softel in the city they turned it on for us.

Time for me to close off as the space is running out.

We wish to all that receive this letter, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

The good thing about Christmas is that we remember those, not recently seen, and we still wish to remember for the good times that have been shared and now in the past.
